THE HALULEKA SCHOOL

Location: Chotwe, Mozambique Year: 2020

Founded to aid young children orphaned and made vulnerable by war, famine, or other circumstances, the HLAULEKA school was established as a private preschool which also provided permanent shelter and education for helpless youth within the region. Due to its rapid growth and increasing needs, the school now has a goal of expanding through the addition of a new campus to be located on a newly acquired plot of land closely located to the current primary school. The project focuses on this future expansion through the proposal of a master site plan and building designs for a new secondary school campus.
